I've tended to keep my art lives separate - I write, I draw, I photograph, but I really only post my digital drawings on dA nowadays. I was going through my favorite photos from 2015 earlier today, and I wondered if I should break my own rule-of-thumb and share my photography.

A cool trailer will get me to watch anything.
Five minutes into the movie, I realized I had made a terrible mistake.
I was watching The Last Witch Hunter. In theater. Because trailer.
Because the trailer was fun and full of amazing CGI and a flaming sword and back-bend-sword-dodges and a girl with glowy silver eyes.
The thing about action movies like these, though, is that they're high risk. And you can't always tell by the rating. This movie just tanked to a 6.4 on IMDB, but Brick Mansions (which is amazing B movie) currently hovers at a 5.7. With this kind of movie, it could be so gooood...but it's just as likely that all the cool scenes were put in the trailer, and all the stuff y

Secret Santa Gift Giving!
In December, we organized a Secret Santa event in which our artists signed up to create a secret gift for someone (and secretly assigned to get a gift from someone!).
Today, everyone is receiving their Secret Santa gift! You will see some great pieces appear in your devWatch center today that were made in the spirit of generous giving. You can see them all in this gallery here, but here are a few so far - and they're still coming in!

ito mixing stuff, I think the comments below about brand & sharing are in the right zone. One of the great things about dA is the engaging, supportive community. Separating the accounts, you will have to rebuilding a following. One route might be to keep them integrated here for input and feedback, and then run an account on instagram/ or a photo site with a 'picture only' focus.
